on my first wireless phone. I had no idea how to buy a cell phone and
quickly realized there was no place online to steer people in the right
direction. My first cell phone was with MCI Worldwide and I got locked
into a lousy 2 year contract and had a phone that didn't work 80% of the
time. I wanted to make sure that this would not happen to anyone else.
At the time a lot of my neighbors were going out and getting a new cell
phone. I didn't want them to get into a bad contract like I had. I made
the site with some of the best reviews and things to look for in a
contract.
I started the site around 2001 and have helped many people over the
years when they are looking for a cell phone. The site is aimed at
people who just need a basic cell phone although we have expanded
towards newer smart phone models. I have answer hundreds of emails when
it comes to getting a cell phone. I am always amazed at some of the
basic questions I get asked so I made a few pages dedicated to buying a
cell phone and helping thousands of people in the process.
Some of the information on this site is out of date but I try to keep
it as up to date as humanly possible. I try my
best to give you up to date accurate information so you can make an
educated guess towards your purchase.

Over the years I have owned many cell phones and probably have done
more reading about cell phones then 90% of the people on the planet. I
have been a customer of almost all the wireless providers and like I
said about I have had many phones. My phone of choice now is a
Motorola Droid with service from Verizon.
